Hello friends
I have a question for you more experienced!
I have sterilized popcorn in jars. I'm too lazy to make a syringe. Can spore print be directly scraped in a jar? Will it work?

Why do you think there will be contamination? I work under a laminar flow hood I have sterile popcorn and sterile spores. I was just wondering if it was possible to germinate without hydrating the spores. Again I say I’m a little lazy to make a spore syringe.

It will work, but it will take a lot longer with the success rate a lot lower than using agar or LC. What your proposing it basically what happens in real life, this is why shroom produce so many spore, for them its a numbers game. by using agar or LC your giving your shrooms a head start
