Bear with me as I try my best to describe what was hands down the most profound, wild ride I’ve ever been on. My soul mate and I were gifted a small amount of DMT by a friend who had been holding on to it for a while and wanted us to have a meaningful experience together instead of aimlessly holding on to it. We graciously accepted as we had been manifesting the opportunity to have this experience. Everything seemed to align that week for us. We had fallen into an opportunity to have some solid alone  time at our family lake house which is basically our second home. Our care package from our friend arrived a couple days before our trip, as well as a custom glass bowl I had just ordered with no intentions of using it for this but it just so happened to come the day we left for our trip. Fresh clean glass perfect for our evening. As if that wasn’t sign enough for us to continue with our plans, it also happened to be my partners moms birthday, and she passed away when he was 18. We headed out to Michigan and set out to attempt to blast off when we arrived.  We set our mood with dim lights, some low end bass music, a few colored led lights. Atmosphere that we are both comfortable in. We chose to mix our deems with cannabis. I’m not really sure how much we had total between the two of us. But it was enough to experience exactly what we were both hoping for and then some. The first attempt caught me off guard. As I drew in my second hit and held in, I remember looking over at my man and he started to shift upwards into another form of himself in a bunch of little pieces. I immediately backed off of the pipe in uncontrolled hesitation. The immediate grab and effect was more intense than I had expected. After both of us attempting with no success, we decided to enjoy the effects of our bowl and try again in a little while.  Part 1: Slipping Away  I went in this time assuming I was close to blasting off the last time and had let my caution get the best of me. This time I lit the bowl, ripped it once and held it in as long as I could. Exhale, repeat. I believe it was sometime during the exhale of my third hit I remember the vision of my man gently taking the bowl from me, and a sensation almost as if someone gently pushed me on the forehead as I laid back into the bed.  At this point things felt weird. At first, and for hours after my trip. I couldn’t really recall what happened or where I went. I remember feeling cold actually, feeling locked away. Almost a death type sensation to be honest. I didn’t remember anything at that moment or afterwards until the next morning when we decided to pack the small amount of what we had into another bowl just to feel the vibe of a light dose (I’ll get into that more after I finish here). All of a sudden, I felt warmth rush over me. I felt the sensation of touch against my body. My man had come into the bed next to me, it was at that moment I was instantly launched into what I would describe as the most vivid psychedelic technicolor vortex moving me at rapid speed that I felt through my entire body. My man, my soul mate, appeared in front of me as I immediately began to then realize and remember what we had just done! I remember almost saying out loud “oh my god I forgot what we were doing for a minute!”. He was in front of me in completely vivid colors and shapes almost similar to what cartoon hieroglyphics would look like! I remember feeling the most intense sensation of pure euphoria and bliss as we shot through this rainbow vortex, as he smiled his whole existence smiled in colors I will literally never forget. I started to come back to the reality of the room and us together on the bed in such exhilaration I felt like I just road a rollercoaster through the center of the universe! I literally screamed uncontrollably “oh my god oh my gooooooooooodddddddddd!” My partner immediately asked where I went. And I described what I had seen and what I felt on the way back. But when I thought about it I had no feelings or recollection of going anywhere. I felt nothing but cold and empty which honestly freaked me out to even say out loud. I was like why didn’t I go somewhere? And why do I have these feelings of death like I went no where. Nonetheless my ride through the vortex had me soaring on cloud nine and we went to sleep in awe of what we had experienced.    Part 2: The Flashback The next morning we sat down on the same bed we had the night before. Decided to put the rest of the deems we had on a bowl of cannabis just to get a low dose vibe going for us knowing that it wasn’t enough for either of us to blast off with. Still confused as to why I didn’t seem to have gone anywhere, I reluctantly hit the bowl and held it in as long as I could. I laid back and closed my eyes enjoying the warm body buzz that was coming over me. As soon as I closed my eyes it hit me, imagery of what I had seemed to have “forgotten” came flooding back. I sat there with my jaw dropped thinking “wow, now I remember everything”. It was like the anticipation/slight fear of blasting off again brought everything back to the surface for me. I remembered feeling like I was grabbed and lifted up by a force way way beyond me. I woke up on the edge of a completely different world, but I felt above it as if I was peering down into it with a decision of whether or not I could enter. The world was very warm, pinks oranges, and the entities there seemed excited to see me even though I was completely stuck and dumbfounded. The one I focused on was a large man like structure that seemed like stone but had a Native American or Aztec like feel to me. He had long black hair that stuck out like snakes on his head. Everything was tilting side to side as if it wanted to play with me but I just remember feeling stuck. I also felt they were trying to offer me something spread out on a plate but I was too confused as to where I was or how I got there to engage and I felt as if they were trying to give me drugs. Which I now feel like was honestly them trying to remind me that I had just smoked dmt and wanted to be here! It was at this moment in my flashbacks that I felt the coldness and death like feeling I had felt the night before during my actual trip. I now feel like they were trying to tell me my fear and apprehension was killing my experience. And as soon as I felt the warmth of my man next to me I was launched into this pure euphoric whirlwind of the most amazing and beautiful colors. I feel as if I will never forget the intense flush of emotions all throughout my entire body and soul. It still brings a huge smile to my face every time I stop to think about it. I have learned so much from this profound experience. And as much as I look forward to having an opportunity present itself for me to go back and try to remain more focused and centered on the experience and what messages it has for me, I also feel completely fulfilled with my experience and feel no desire to revisit anytime soon. I know that if I continue to manifest another opportunity will present itself when the timing is right. The after effects of my trip have been incredible, I honestly feel as if the voice inside my head even speaks to me differently now. The sense of peace and direction and knowing that there’s power in the universe far beyond what the human mind can conceive or even take in and adequately explain is just so overwhelming and comforting. I find myself just in utter astonishment of what I experienced.
