To nuetrilize the highly alkaline freebase your body squirts more digestive acid into your gut which can fuck up your stomach lining and cause ulcers. Nuetralize it in a shot of lemon juice instead. Or Coca Cola. Ive even used Cherry Coke. #protip

Even 100mg of freebase (pH of 9.5ish) takes so much less stomach acid to convert to it's salt form than would be released from drinking a cup of pH 7 water or eating a meal.
