This was one of my most memorable acid trips. I don't partake in lsd very often, but when I do, more often than not it is with my cousin up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. However, this experience was very unexpected. My friend and I went up to Colorado to see Tash Sultana live at the Red Rocks, and I had mentioned to him that we might be able to hangout with my wonderful cousin, the person responsible for getting me on the rainbow path in the first place. We had a wonderful time at the Red Rocks, which just so happened to be the first time I ever tried MDMA, which was a blast! I danced my ass off all night into the next morning! If you haven't heard of Tash Sultana, look at the video on my profile and watch her perform magic. Anyways, we got a hold of my cousin and met her while she was still at work. We had to wait about an hour downtown in Denver, but we had no idea what was in store for us that night.

My cousin mentioned to us that her roommate and a bunch of her friends were going to have live music playing in this barn way up into the mountains, and that afterwards there was going to be a huge bonfire with continued live music. Little did I know this would be one of those life changing experiences that I would never forget. About two and a half hours into the mountains, and we arrived at the private location where there was already a decent amount of people vibing and enjoying the live performances. Rainbow lights illuminated the barn, with great music and lively people that made the beginning of this experience a perfect intro to an epic night.

Eventually we all migrated outside to look at the moonless and cloudless night sky that was dazzled by the stars and milkyway. It was so beautiful, the stars I will never forget. My cousin, her roommate, and a couple of her close friends that I had just become acquianted with, and I were sitting in a circle when I was asked the question, "would you like some acid before we go start the bonfire?" I said yes, and my cousin's roommate handed me a half tab while saying I could have more later if I felt I wanted it. As the fire grew larger, so did the first wave that began to overcome my body. I could feel the sky and the ground compressing together and I truly felt like I was in space. There was folk live music playing, some of the best live music I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. There was an indigneous man "bear" with tattoos inspired by Ayahuasca, and he allowed me to gaze at them which highly stimulated my trip. There were about twenty-five of us around the fire, all on acid, one man was drunk, and one man on mushrooms. There were intense moments of synchronicities were we were all dancing, then we would all go quiet, it was truly like our souls were interconnected in this experience.

I had some very deep philisophical conversations with many people, there were lsd cuddle puddles everywhere, a lot of love in the air. This experience reminded me the importance of living and letting go, dance, music, and friendship. Eventually the morning sun began to rise over the mountain tops, and people began to wind down and really embrace their partners or warm blankets. I had taken another half tab about halfway into the night, however, so my trip was about halfway over when we started to descend back down the mountains. My friend was driving who was sober, and my cousin and I were still on the same wavelength. There was a thick fog blanketing the lower elevation has the sun was rising, rainbow lightbeams illuminating the rocky mountainside. Everything was alive, breathing in sync with my breath, my cousin singing a song "surrender" to calm any anxiety. Such a beautiful experience, and one that allowed me to open my heart to the sounds of love.

Eventually we made it back to my cousin's house, where I cuddle with her cat to finish my trip. I was blessed with all of her art on the wall, and the plants that were very much alive and communicating with me. I also got to have some deep meditation and a long period of silence to really integrate into my soul what I had just experienced. We all just need to surrender our hearts to the music, the fire, the stars and the mountains. Let go of your fears and anxieties, reconnect with nature and allow yourself to feel alive. I love you all.
