So I was hanging out with a friend of mine who just recently graduated college. He was planning on moving to Colorado soon, because he got a job offer. We decided we would spend some time together before he went on his next adventure, so we were just listening to music drinking some tea, having some good conversation. This guy is twenty-eight years old, older than me by five years, and he hasn't tripped in about seven years. He is into sustainable landscaping and gardening, and he says that he got his inspiration largely from taking acid, but also from a few spectacular mushroom journeys as well. In his little common room, in his apartment, he has these three led lights: violet, pink, and a reddish orange color. Together, they give an amazing spectacle, it almost looks as if you are tripping on acid because of the effect. For example, the door frame looked multi-dimensional with the colors layering and morphing together. While him and I were talking, I had this random thought, like a voice in my head that told me, "this is the time to show him." Immediately I knew that I wanted and seemingly needed to blast off in this space. So, I asked him if I could run over to my apartment, and grab the deemz. Told him that I had to experience these lights and colors in the room, especially on the come down.

I ran to my apartment, and obtained the universe. I was really excited to not only show him what it was like too see someone go through such an experience, but to journey in such a colorful, intense atmosphere. Without much hesitation, I sat down on the chair and loaded up a good amount guided by my heart. I also figured there was still probably some leftover in the oil burner already, so I knew I was in for a powerful experience. Before I started, I decided I wanted to journey with the aid of music. I chose a song that I had never listened to called "Protectors of the Realm" by Kaminanda. As the beginning of the song began to play, I began to meditate. I did a quick thirty second meditation, just to ease my mind and calm myself down some. Once I came out of the meditative state, I took a deep breath, and picked up the loaded oil burner.

This was on a weekend, and early in the day I had drank a beer, just one beer. My body was back to equilibrium and I felt completely sober. Anyways, I began vaporizing the deemz slowly and efficiently, slowing rotating the burner to get a nice, even distribution of heat. As soon as I started to see a thin cloud of vapor, I began inhaling. It was a fairly big first hit, and already my body was buzzing and I could hear a slight ringing in my ears. Also, the music was getting very intense and there was a definitive time distortion. Things began to become fuzzy, and the walls seem to push back away from me, as if space all around me was expanding. I took another hit, which was my last hit, because as soon as I began inhaling the second time, everything started to rotate and spin and within about three seconds of me taking that second hit, I had put the oil burner down on the ground. I sat back and prepared myself to let go.

As soo as I laid back, I was shot through this tunnel of unbelievable light and color, just other-worldly, unimaginable colors that were just so spectacular. Everything was neon but it was like retro-neon, vaporwave-type neon, Japanese 70s & 80s type of vibe. I was shot into this realm of complete darkness at first, but within what seemed like a few seconds, I had accepted the darkness and the void, and as I did that these little orbs of energy and light started to appear out of nowhere. They were very much alive, and it seemed like they were shy but curious. It was as if I was an orb just like them, and I could approach them but the closer and closer I got, the further and further they distanced themselves. But, as I would retreat and give them space, they would slowly, like a curious cat, approach me and check me out. I felt a very positive, happy vibration that was being emitted from everything around. Eventually, these little orbs started to merge together as one, including me, and there was this sudden flash of light and warmth that encompassed everything... and as the light started to fade away, my friend's room around me began to slowly resurge. As I looked down at the carpet, at a spectacular fractalgasm, there was this faint woman's voice in the back of my head that told me "no more alcohol." As soon as I heard that, I had this intense urge to drink water like I was literally dying of dehydration. It was such a paranoid feeling that I had, like, as if I didn't get water I was going to legit die. I turned to my friend who seemed very curious, and told him in a faint and weak voice that I needed some water.

Once I got the water in my system, I felt this resurgence of life come back to me. I was freezing and shivering, and I felt really strange. Like I had really just died. My friend told me that when I was in the dmt realms, he felt a very strong presence of something, and that his heart was beating fast and felt somewhat overwhelmed for no particular reason. He has only done dmt once, but it was a long time ago and it was just a small dose. I hope that I was able to model an experience for him, and I also told him how sometimes I will make an entire day dedicated to one experience via a ceremony. I told him the importance of preparation, set & setting, intention. He seemed very curious about it, and told me that he will most likely try it in Colorado. This was a good experience for me, I realize that I need to stop drinking alcohol every day, that is my one downfall in life, my one generation curse, something that my childhood trauma has taught me. I just have to continue healing and mending the wounds, and I thank the plant medicines dearly for allowing me to do so. Peace.
