I was a meme

A couple of nights ago I smoked some DMT and expected a peaceful trip as I always did before. Except this trip was different to say the least. I have no recollection of entering the trip I just remember instantly being an impossible shape in space not existing but at the same time being conscious I just kept shifting and everytime I had a thought I would reset and go back not knowing anything it felt like being conscious and being alive were two different things while I was floating in space as a non existent abstract shape (it kinda looked like a grey ocean of abstract geometrical shapes) I kept trying to think but I couldn't instead all I felt was I don't exist I couldn't do anything except nothing I didn't have any feelings nor thoughts. Then I shifted inside out and found myself back in my room. The first thing I asked myself was "was i reborn in another dimension?" The trip wasn't over I was transferred into a dark void as the same shape I was before. Its funny because even though I had all the lights on my trip was mostly dark and grey. I was back to being the shape except this time I was more aware when I looked up I seen text above me it was one of those meme templates it said "when you realize you dont exist" then the trip ended abruptly. It made me think does DMT give you the ability to let you observe your thoughts without filters of sense? Or does it actually take you to real realms outside of ours? Who knows maybe it was the machine elves screwing with me.
