Well it's really going to be hard to tell until you actually extract it out. If this is your first pull off of the soup it could be potentially very light because you haven't pulled any of the fat alkaloids out yet.

Here's a question, do you activate the Lye first by putting it in the water and letting it dissolve and then put the bark in or do you put the bark in the blue in and the water in and mix it that way?

Crystallization will only occur when you have created a solution- the solid will need to be removed and the liquid needs to be chilled overnight for proper nucleation.
