This was on my cake is it because of to much moisture maybe killing the mycelium ? Should I cut it out the bulk tub

In my experience, even if you cut out an infected area, it show's back up. Hey! But what do you have to lose? ¯\_ಠ_ಠ_/¯ Cut it and hopefully you get a flush before you gotta toss it. Good luck!
