Other mushrooms I have grown haven't had those dark stripes under the cap and the cap was usually almost perfectly round. I wonder if this is a problem or just normal.

I just don't want then to hurt that much... Some are very embarrassing... But in some I was the happiest dude ever... With a loved one. But 2 years have passed. I want o be like: ah good old days. And move on. Should I try anything else?

You dont need shrooms no, but they definitely help you be honest with yourself and accept that you cant change the past, and accept that you wont always get the ansers you want but in fact, you dont really need them to move on
