I though 2% yield was the absolute highest but someone on dmt nexus said he got over 2% by “ being early to the bark when they were still harvesting the big trees”

Alot of factors affect the yield like time of year it was harvested, amount of rain the tree received, age, etc.
2% is just a rough guide, not a standard. You can definitely have more or less depending on bark quality.
