My mum has had two ARIAS.Here is a short explanation ARIA stands for Amyloid-Related Imaging Abnormalities, which are changes detected on brain imaging (usually MRI) in people receiving treatments targeting amyloid-beta, a protein associated with Alzheimer's disease. ARIA is a known potential side effect of certain Alzheimer's treatments, especially monoclonal antibodies like aducanumab or lecanemab.Symptoms: Often asymptomatic but can include headache, confusion, nausea, or difficulty concentratingCausesARIA is believed to be caused by the breakdown of the blood-brain barrier in response to treatments targeting amyloid plaques. When amyloid is removed from blood vessel walls, it can trigger inflammation or leakage, leading to ARIA.I found a peptide called BPC-157 which I'll get for her, because from what I can read, it seems like something her body and brain could benefit fromBut here is my question.Would you microdose if you had this condition? Do you have any thoughts? I'm just brainstorming here(no pun intended!).I just want to help my mum as much as I can, I want so deeply to support her as much as I can. I would like to hear your opinion.
