No, that's just a misunderstanding of what they mean by placebo effect. Science has studied faith healing, never performs better than placebo. A simple look at the numbers behind Christian Scientists illustrates this fact.

Yep. Reading Dispenzas “You are the Placebo” as a healer who been witness to 100’s of “miracles” it astounds me how science keeps the lid on things which as easily repeatable and provable.

What i mean is "placebo effect" is by definition faith healing (your belief that a pill will work, makes it work) not that any individual claiming to be able to heal by faith is legitimate
