I did add extra 10ml, threw it on the stove, figured the right temperature out - got crystal clear (as my intention to try the final product) layer of naphtha on the top. It's been like 40 min, gonna give it another 20-30 min, and turn it all down

So basically I was doing the water bath step wrong, just pouring the hot water from the sink. And thank you again MightyEagle for guiding me thru this little problem
