It is possible to trust someone's words and not their actions. You can trust someone's heart to the breadth and depth of it and they can make a mistake that stings.Because we are not infallible creatures. We feel, do, and live based upon our logic and emotions and no thing with a beating heart has ever made an error. That is not real, that fairy tale concept of complete trust. But to trust someone to stay even though you make mistakes...to trust someone to stay knowing that one day one of you will hurt the other...through fault or foolishness...that is a glorious thing indeed. Now mind you, this is sans toxicity or unhealthiness. I think the best thing in the whole world is to be able to trust someone enough that you know they don't want you to hurt, they try not to make you, they try to be be there when you do. That's all I ever asked for, and I am happy to have found it, and will protect,water,and continue to grow into it.
