Status Update
Any rules about throwing colonized agar directly into pc'd substrate? I tried it out on a couple shoeboxes just to see what happens

The point of growing the myc prior to putting to substrate is to make it strong enough to colonize the sub quickly enough to defeat contams. Agar into sub will grow the same but take longer to the point it greatly increases risk of eventual contam.
