I've been thinking around something recently, and may have just realized what it was I needed to take away from prior experiences. Bear with me here please:It was 3 years after my first psychedelic experience with psilocybin when I read the Cosmic Serpent by Jeremy Narby, and the concept of "defocalization" was first introduced. That was in 2012. For people who remember that period, the Mayan calendar timeline and so many different energies were manifesting throughout the world...it was a fascinating point in the collective consciousness and in humanity's journey as a spiritual organism.Well recently I've been thinking about the psychedelic renaissance, and this highly specialized scientific and technologically- driven society we now live in. Despite us all living through a global pandemic together, we are more connected now than we ever have been before -- this was reiterated in a meditation video I watched this week shared by HappyKB.What this opportunity is allowing is mass introspection on a global scale. We're spending more time in our minds than ever before, and this inherently is healing...regardless of those of us who struggle with mental health issues like anxiety or depression, etc...this is our chance to work through those things. To heal, apart but together. We're not alone, in fact everyone is there at the touch of a button.Sure physical contact is necessary, that's a different subject, I'm just talking about our mental states (which in turn impacts our physical health.)I believe in this time we are being removed from our egos regardless of whether we accept and embrace this reality or not. What this all requires is for us to defocalize. We are defocalizing both individually and on a global level, and it's allowing us to see more clearly. We are often doing it without knowing it, but this process is in fact happening whether we realize it or not.Our lives are changing towards releasing limitations. That's how I see it and I'm gonna stick to that shit. :-)Mush love errbody, peace fam.

I now realized the image is actually of the word "delocalize" which is different yet similar to "defocalize" or the changing of one's focus.
The example I always think of is when you're up close on a large pattern like close to the ground and you see a bunch of green. It's all blurry and the patter... View More
