This cake is getting a blueish spot on the side. Is this normal or should i pull it?

Verm would be sprinkled on the top of the cake to help with moisture retention.

It is perlite on the cake. Ive got 3 and for testing i rolled one heavily in perlite, the one in image was rolled lightly and the 3rd is not rolled.
