So we have some mushrooms maturing before the rest. (As you can see on the left side of this picture the veil has broken off some.) We plucked a few bigger ones yesterday but are unsure where to go from here. Seems silly to run a dehydrator for just 3 mushrooms.

The fresh picks can be stored in a paper bag (or other porous container) in the fridge for a few days without degrading or getting too "mushie". When the rest are ready, just toss them all in the dehydrator at once.
