A few days ago my best friend of over a decade tried to commit suicide. He has been in and out the mental ward the last 6 months fighting his demons and gave up. In total he had a Shattered femur, 4 severed toes, multiple fracture in his neck and spine, 9 broken ribs, tore his spleen, Tore every last muscle that holds the neck on to the head. The only thing that's holding is head on right now is his spineBefore i found out he was ok, i thought the worst and felt guilty as if i could have helped him make a better decision. I understand it can be hard especially as men in this society to talk about these things, but please try. If you or someone you know is feeling down, especially right now with everything going on, get out in front of it and be proactive before its too late. Before this happened i hadnt heard from him in a few weeks. I was so caugjt up in my own personal life that i didnt think anything of it. Me calling him peobably wouldnt had made a difference, but sometimes just knowing there is someone there for you makes all the difference. To anybody that may be feeling this way reading this, its never too late to make a change for the better. We need you here on this plane of existence. Dont let go
