I have to share a pretty spectacular memory. This image captures one of my life's my greatest highlights. I snapped this photo ten years ago at almost 5000 meters above sea level.I had just passed the Thorong La Pass (5,416mtrs) along the Annapurrna Range in Nepal and crossed onto the Tibetan side of the Range (close to the border). The green area is Muktinath. Sitting at 3,710mtrs, it is a holy place in Buddhism as nothing should grow at that altitude but a natural underground spring created a breathtaking oasis. I'll never forget this moment. I felt so small in my surroundings but completely overjoyed. I really hope to go back one day!
