Saw this photo of Shaboy the other day that inspired this piece. Thanks for the permission to share brother. The Healer's Reflection: A Forest Meditation:Upon a grand tree stump he sat, in ancient forests deep,A healer wise, with knowing eyes, where whispered secrets keep. His hands upon his knees he placed, his legs in crosséd pose,In contemplation deep he gazed, as morning sunlight rose.Beneath the boughs of Sakura, adorned in pink and white,He sought the wisdom of the world, in nature's dappled light. The rustle of the leaves above, the murmur of the breeze,In harmony, they spoke to him, a symphony of peace. His healing touch, a gift bestowed, by spirits of the land,A power to mend the broken hearts, and bodies of the damned. From village near and far they came, the sick, the hurt, the frail,With hope within their weary eyes, they sought his sacred trail. In quiet reverence, they approached, their tales of woe to share,With gentle hands and open heart, he eased their every care.Yet as he healed the wounds of others, his own scars remained,A burden carried deep within, a shadow ever chained. And so, he sat upon the stump, his thoughts adrift in air,A meditation on the pains that even healers bear.He wondered if the wisdom sought, in skies and forests wide,Could mend the hidden hurt he felt, the ache he could not hide. The breeze then whispered softly, words of solace to his heart,A message carried through the air, like nature's healing art:"Embrace the imperfections, the scars that mark your soul,For even healers, wise and strong, must learn to be made whole."He looked upon the world anew, with gratitude and grace,The beauty found in every wound, each line upon his face.A healer in the forests deep, upon his perch of wood,He found the peace within himself, a truth misunderstood. For in the heart of every healer, a battle wages on,The fight to mend the world's great ills, and those that lie beyond.Yet in the end, the greatest gift, the lesson to be learned,Is that through love and understanding, even healers' hearts are turned.
