Made some more "art" with Photoleap. These are all inspired by SciFi, futurism, transcendence, the singularity, etc. I know it's a hotly debated topic in the art world right now, am I an artist for making these images? Are these images even art? Some people would say that the AI made them and they would say "anyone can type a prompt into an AI". It's true, anyone can type a prompt into an AI. But the same could be said about a canvas and paint. Anyone can put paint on a canvas. The paint and canvas are the tools of the artist. I like to think of Photoleap as my tool. I studied art in college, and I also studied AI. I was the president of the computer club on campus. I don't really care if people think I'm an artist or not. I like making images, and I think I'm pretty good at making interesting images that make people think, make people use their imaginations. I like the idea of using technology to create art. How I like to think of it is like this, I see myself as a "technomancer" or "tech mage" and my app Photoleap is like my familiar spirit, a little digital creature who is insanely gifted and talented artist, and I "cast my spells" by writing specific special prompts, inputting them into Photoleap, and then I sort through the results and pick out the best images it comes up with. I might be delusional, I might be living in my own little fantasy world, but I am happy and at the end of the day that's what it's all about. Anyway, thanks for reading all that, if you did, sorry to go on a big long rant here, I just wanted to let you guys know more about the creative process.
