This is my shoebox tub grow. This is my first time ever growing shrooms. It’s been 15 days since I started it. Humidity is still good. Is it ready to start fruiting conditions? If not how long shall I wait? And do I have to put a casing layer over it? Or is that optional. Didn’t open the lid to take a photo this time ????

Casing is optional. You want the entire block to colonize before bring in fruiting conditions. The more you let it colonize the stronger and more resilient it will be to contams.
