Im literally scared of my pressure cooker. When I got it, I used it whenever needed. Now after 6 months of pause on growing, I have successfully used it 3 times. Today was different. It did not make the high pitch shizzle, but more low pitch. 10 min. I dared myself to continue, til I quit for safety reasons. The weight did not want to start rotating, and pressure was high. Now Im stalled. I think , gonna look for 1 plate stove and PC future projects outside. PS. Its soviet old pc. Don't know even the model.

This model of pressure cooker is very safe. You should check if the rubber seal is not dry or wrongly placed. The exhaust valve may be clogged and can be cleaned or replaced as well.

I clean all parts always beforw PC. Don,t want that DIY explosive to go off.

I meant this being a safe PC because the way the lid gets closed makes it very unlike it explodes unless the exhaust valve is not working properly. The pressure itself is what keeps the lid sealed and makes it almost impossible to be opened while still under pressure.
