Hey cacti-philes. Ive got a loft graft, been on that trich for a year now, but I noticed this 'rot' looking tissue at the junction. The plant overall seems to keep growing, and when its watered it firms right up. Something to be concerned about? Thanks all!

When did you notice it? Does it seem to be spreading? Is it so soft it's mushy? A lot of time callouses will develop crazy colored molds thay dont affect the life of the cactus so im hoping thats all it is but we will figure it out either way

pachanoi-royshortly after the graft, maybe 6 months ago, and it has spread a little, but not much. It firms up with the rest of the plant when watered and the bits closest to the union are calloused
