I mean, not really. Just keep coloring your piece and see where it ends up. When i tend to do my art I typically hate it, however, after i walk away from it for a few days and come back it completely changes my opinion.

Also everyone that i know always ask md what i plan on doing with the end results because they want it. Funny thing about art is it can totally be wrecked to your eye but to another it's a masterpiece. And in the same respects it could be a masterpiece to u and trash to someond else. Gotta love it....
