Attempting my first datura salve/flying ointment! This is my datura seeds ground up in olive oil taking a hot bath to infuse, then I will add beeswax to make it solidify. Anyone have experience with making or using solanaceae topically? My goal with her is more of a medical application and not to be on a long and hard trip. Datura salves are sometimes used for chronic pain and anxiety relief, it is much safer when apllied topically vs taken orally. (I used 1 tbsp ground datura seeds to 3.5 oz of oil and will use about 10 grams of beeswax) :)

psychonautmarlee i bought some on etsy but haven't had the balls to use it yet. I went on a bit of a buying spree when o found out my wife was pregnant and haven't had the time or energy to do much in regards to journeying interdimensionally.

Use for sleeping question. Do you put it in specific areas or a dab anywhere? I read the old practitioners used to put it in their armpits or neither region (hence riding a broom).

From what I have read, you can just put it anywhere close to a vein i think. The salve i bought says to rub it on your wrist where you would check your pulse.
