Unwashed, Washed, and Sterile Scrubbed Hands!
Unwashed after touching all the things - bacteria is too numerous to count, some yeast present, large amount of skin cells and other debris.
Washed w/ handsoap and tap water like normal (15-20 seconds, nothing special) - actually had more skin cells than unwashed! Odd - maybe from loosening them washing? Bacterial colonies are still significant but actually quantifiable, yeast is more rare, less random contam.
Sterile Scrub with Chlorhexidine for full minute and rinsed with alcohol just prior to sample prep - bacteria and yeast are nearly non-existent, rare skin cells, and almost no random contams.
Results are based on full slide evaluation, not just the shared images. Apologies for the terrible quality, new clinic doesn't have a digital microscope (*adding to my Christmas list lol)
