Got a little experiment going. The mycelium is actually taking over the contamination. I wonder if i move this to agar after it takes hold, i can grow out a contamination resistant strain...

Theres so much info out there. Alot of it contradictory. In my research some say its impossible and some say it is but most say they dont know. The best way (especially these days) to find answers is to experiment and see for yourself. I will keep yall posted on the results.

Last time i got a jar like this, i stuck it outside with a case layer, watered everyday and actually got some fruits. Granted, i would probably never consume anything that came out of a contam jar.

The plan is to put healthy samples on agar and in theory the strains should be encoded to be a bit more resilient against contamination. It could just be a waste of time who knows? Lol

Thor Odinson knowledged gained is not time wasted brother. From an evolutionary biology perspective this totally makes sense. Genes have a plasticity that can be stretched to accommodate bacterial/viral resistance.
