Finally got my psychotria and salvia plants back outside for the season!Next up is the cacti! The salvia has been super pissed and they are really showing it this year .... They are true divas and always hate being taken indoors in the late fall ... But this is the worst Ive ever seen them look post their winter, indoor semi-brumation. They always bounce back fast though and hopefully this year will be no exception...... My two salvia plants (blosser and gordon wasson cuts) ive had for nearly 10 yrs now. Both psychotria are absolutely full of berries and this is the earliest Ive ever seen their berries this far along in maturation. They are usually just starting to transition from green to red berries right about now ..... Theres some mature purplish ones now with the rest following behind closely. The psychotria viridis came outdoors looking fairly good, but the psychotria alba is looking a bit yellowish in the leaves ..... Ive already top dressed the soil with my own worm castings and some ammendments ..... Ill water it in with some coconut water and aloe vera juice to really kick things back up into high gear!Ill have plenty of fresh berries to give away this year .... Even when super fresh, they can be extremely difficult to germinate. I average maybe one sucessful seedling for every dozen seeds planted.Just thought I'd share as I took a breakHappy Mama Day to all the Moms btw!

Thanks Cubic .... both of the psychotria are around 7 or 8 yrs old ...... I keep them in smaller sized pots to deter them from growing into unmanageable sized giants ..... they do require me moving them indoors during the winter, so I must keep them manageable ....... but the minute I find my pot o...
