Hatching out our first batch of chicks for the year. Copper Maran chicks. I'll put up some pictures of the hatchlings later today. We usually hatch around 100 chicks every spring.

Nice. I thought about getting a chick as a pet a few years back. My friend had a bunch of dif chickens and animals but she has those cool fuzzy chickens also i cant think of the name right now. I was amazed to find out they lay eggs almost every single day!

I can't wait to start breeding my Ball Pythons..still have 2 more years for my girl to be of age n weight..but the goal n excitement is still there..i rememeber hatching chicks in elementary school as a kid..cool experience
