The nose knows my guy as long as it smells like mushrooms and nothing else. When you open it make sure you get a good sniff. You will know.

always open away from face and waft the scent to you. ive taken big whiffs of bad jars and dont recommend it

I feel it is highly underrated the risk we take for the evolution of out conciousness. Either way, obviously take care not to inhale any mold spores.
