View MoreSo at work sunday i go to do one of the clients laundry then i go to the donation room to finds him some more clothes. I get back to the laundry room less than ten minutes later and the room is up in flames full of smoke and the alarms are going off. Thankfully a nurse put out the fire and noone was hurt. That homeless dude and his gf lost all of their clothes though. The rest of the day my coworkers seem really strange, i dono what it was but it was setting off my anxiety and i was honestly considering i was losing my mind. That whole day was fucked even on the bike ride home some dude tried to fight me. Speaking of bikes i bought a brand new one on friday. I had been saving up since last summer. It was almost 1200 dollars. Suuuper nice bike. Anyway yesterday i decide to take it for a spin, grab some tabacco, whip through a local forest. Im just exiting the wooded area and the pedal/arm just breaks off. A clean break. Brand new bike. 1200 dollars. So at this point i feel like the universe hates me.

My gf is talking to our hairdresser this morning. Our hairdesser is our ex-roomate and a really close friend. The three of us have bonded over astrology for years. She casually mentions that were in the midst of a mercury retrograde ._.

Of fucking course we are.

I says to my girlfriend “how much you wanna bet it started saturday before last.” We were camping last weekend on friday i dropped a half tab with our friend. BEST DAY EVER. The saturday we wake up early, go for a 5 hour hike, me and my gfs friend say fuck it lets drop a full tab and have an experience the same strength as yesterday(accounting for the complex tryptamine tolerance) Well the experience was the same strength but our social and communicative dynamic was not. It fet really awkward and not fun at all.

My GF looks up the dates for the current mercury retrograde. Starts Saturday May 29th. Booyah.

Unfortunately it doesnt end until June 22nd and we have plane tickets to go to Vancouver from the 16th until the 24th. Hopefully we got all the retrograde weirdness out of the way….
