I have rabbits deer squirrels and other animals cross my yard. I know one of them did same in backyard. The cakes i break up in front garden bed good, but the deer corn i put by front tree something is eating that.

I have rats behind the back of my house that dig up and eat all cakes and grain that I chug or dig up outside. Probably created a new super smart rat civilization out there
